Row Types

In the report designer, select any row or cell, right-click, and you can see the type definitions in the pop-up menu, as shown below:

From the right-click menu, you can see that it supports defining specific rows into four special types: Title Row, Repeated Header Row, Repeated Footer Row, and Summary Row. These row types mainly take effect during pagination.

Title Row

The so-called Title Row refers to rows that will only appear on the first row of the first page when the report is calculated and paginated. If multiple rows are defined as Title Row type, these rows will be inserted at the very beginning of the first page when the report runs and outputs with pagination. It should be noted that we can define rows at any position in the report as Title Rows, but when the report is calculated and paginated for output, these rows defined as Title Rows will always be displayed at the very beginning of the first page of the report.

Repeated Header Row

Different from the Title Row, rows defined as Repeated Header Rows will be placed at the beginning of each page for display when the report is calculated and paginated for output. If the current report has Title Rows defined, then for the first page, the Title Row(s) will be at the very top, followed by the rows defined as Repeated Header Rows.

Repeated Footer Row

Similar to the Repeated Header Row type, it will also be displayed on each page when the report is calculated and paginated for output, but it will appear at the very bottom of each page.

Summary Row

Corresponding to the Title Row, the Summary Row will appear at the very bottom of the last page when the report is calculated and paginated for output. If the current report has Repeated Footer Rows defined, then on the last page of the report's calculated and paginated output, the Summary Row(s) will be displayed below the Repeated Footer Rows.
